<p>Learning with a purpose is always more efficient and enjoyable than without a purpose.(Who are learning without a purpose? Lots of students at the weekend Chinese schools or after schools!  When I was teaching them, I often heard them saying &#8220;I don&#8217;t want to learn Chinese&#8221;, &#8220;I hate Chinese&#8221;.  Oh, my!)</p>
