Asian American Honorees of 19th Annual In the Company of Women Award
[Miami, FL - 2/23/2007] OCA – South Florida Chapter is proud to present Ms. Meng Jung “Betty” Lee and the late Mrs. Peggy Shizuko Osumi Murasaki Tanaka, two of 18 honorees at the 19th Annual In the Company of Women Award hosted by Miami-Dade County Parks and Recreation Department.

WHAT: The 19th Annual Chinese New Year Festival
The Festival will feature a dazzling and splendid Chinese acrobat show, various Chinese traditional folk dances and music. Another major attraction is the thundering rhythms of Japanese Taiko drummers. In accordance with the Chinese good luck tradition, the Chinese dragon and lion dances will usher in the festivities. Spectators will also be treated to a selection of Asian culinary delicacies. A variety of booths will feature Asians arts and crafts, fashion, product displays and educational information. All performances: fashion show, music, dance, and drumming will take place at the outdoor main stage while children will have fun at the Kids’ Corner & Games.
